This is to let everyone know that Ahopa, Inc - Friends of the Lakota Nation

incorporated as a nonprofit organization in the state of Connecticut on

March 9, 2009 and was assigned the business ID # 0965095. Also, we

want everyone to know that we will soon be filing for tax exempt status

with the IRS.

Additionally, the Office of the Attorney General, Department of Consumer

Protection requires that any non-profit organization soliciting funds within

the State of Connecticut register with the state. Organizations who

anticipate that funds will be less than $50,000 for the year need not apply

for this permit, but must nonetheless file with the state as an exempted

organization.

Ahopa, Inc - Friends of the Lakota Nation received a certificate of

exemption from the state Department of Consumer Protection that is

effective from April 2, 2009 until the end of this calender year.

At this time, we cannot accept donations via Pay Pal or Google,

nonetheless, your donation, even a small one, is sorely needed and

would be much appreciated at this time. We know that writing a check

takes a bit more effort than online donations and we appreciate all who
